London

On our first day of our unique Thanksgiving weekend we walked all around London, exploring the city, gazing at the beautiful architecture through out the streets, and occasionally following the wrong "leader" and getting lost! We got very excited when we found The Gap, Abercrombie and Fitch, and Urban Outfitters, finally some American stores, but had to strain ourselves since we are heading home soon!

Through our shopping temptation we ventured out through out more of London. We saw Big Ben, The London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Kensington Gardens, Harrods, Hyde Park, St. Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, etc...

We discovered a "German Christmas Market" in Hyde Park. London's attempt at a Christmas Market was a little funny, since living in Germany I have had a chance to see the German Market masters do some pretty fantastic fairs. London and Germany's Christmas Markets are very different, and I like the German ones much better, but London did a good attempt at it! :)

All through out our London trip we, sadly, never got our call from the Queen to have tea, but maybe next time! It was a wonderful and fun trip, and a very exciting and unique Thanksgiving.
